Our multi-disciplinary and international team of engineers, designers, startup entrepreneurs and industry specialists support founders with deep expertise and clear vision to build their next big thing.

The venture development team supports founders from validating to building up their business ideas into scalable business models. As we want to sustainably grow our Venture Development Team in the first half of 2022, we are looking for venture developers to support the ‘Company Building’ phase, realizing the launch and growth of our portfolio ventures.


In this role you will

  • Adapt a co-founder mindset and work hand-in-hand with venture founders on an operational level

  • Support areas of go-to-market strategy, customer validation & acquisition, business development, marketing, sales, and product development

  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of co-founders and team members to build strong venture teams

  • Act as a project manager and activate internal NBT resources such as product, engineering, finance, recruitment, and legal teams

  • Set and implement smart venture goals and coach founders on entrepreneurial and organizational skills

  • Deliver regular reports on venture KPIs and metrics to NBT Management

About You

We are looking for you when you have either (co-) founding or specialist experience in the fields of Sales, Marketing or Business Development in a fast-paced startup.

Must have:

  • 4+ years of full-time work experience
  • Experience with either go-to-market strategy, customer validation & acquisition or product launch
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Startup culture DNA with drive, empathy and positive attitude
  • Problem solver with a can-do-attitude
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience on the German or DACH market
  • Experience with IoT, Deep Tech, Hardware products
  • Experience with B2B business models
  • Team building and coaching or mentoring experience
  • Experience with OKRs
  • Fluency in German and/or another European language
