In a world where globally women own only 40% of wealth, we are building Alice to close the wealth gap one woman at a time. Our vision is focused on tailored and jargon-free financial education and intuitive tools to help women achieve their saving and investing goals. We get up every morning with a clear mission - change the world by building long-term wealth for our female users.

Started in the spring of 2020, we just closed our first round of funding with well-known angels (90% female!) and VCs. We will use these resources to deliver the first minimum lovable product, build the foundation of our consumer finance brand and build up our marketing machine.

  • You get inspired and energised from creating and engaging in conversations that our users want to be part of, regardless of what channel or medium the conversations are happening on. You're naturally "on it" when it comes to the topics and trends that matter to our users. Simultaneously, you intuitively weave conversations with an acute sensitivity towards our users as well as the story of Alice being the go-to consumer finance brand for women. Finally, your north star in the way you think about social media is to build trust with our customers because no trust = go bust.

  • Most importantly, as a human, you are value-driven and a people-person. You build connections with every post, story, video, or stream. You appreciate the state of uncertainty that comes with early-stage startups and take full responsibility for your work. You are an independent mind and the expression "strong opinions loosely held" is your daily mode.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute our social media strategy
  • Help build up Alice as the go-to consumer brand for finance
  • Establish and manage all relevant social media channels, including experimenting with relevant new ones
  • Create, foster, and engage in conversations our key customers want to see, share, and be a part of
  • Plan the social content calendar along with our Senior Content Manager (w/m/x) and deliver relevant creative assets, continuously looking for new and inspiring formats
  • Be our online eyes and ears and inform us on our company strategy based on your insights
  • Monitor performance of your work and use relevant insights to continuous improvement
  • Work with influencers, including selection, contract negotiations and performance monitoring
  • Cut and adjust images and video for social use.

What you bring

  • A heart that is beating for our users, a connection with our core values and the way we work
  • 4+ years of professional experience building engaged social communities from scratch, ideally, in consumer-facing and/or fintech businesses at early-stage
  • Passion for storytelling and understanding of content marketing
  • Natural curiosity to experiment with new messages, channels, and user groups to help us build scale
  • Curiosity to stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, approaches, and strategies
  • A do-er mentality that makes you unstoppable to get things done
  • Ability to think analytically, creatively and strategically
  • Proven ability to use social media data and analytics to inform your work
  • Strong experience in planning and coordinating social content production and developing successful digital campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • C2 German + Business English.
