The Opportunity The global construction industry is a huge market, accounting for 14% of global GDP. Recent technological advancements such as Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, and other digital technologies are providing the industry with the required tools to start and support a digital revolution. IoT is one of these tools to help the industry to develop solutions for increased productivity, safety and profitability.

Construction companies will need to be innovative and more productive in order to stay competitive in a harsh market with low profit margins. Therefore, there is an opportunity to launch a digital solution that improves productivity, safety and profitability in this field.

The Solution Our solution is based on tracking of tower cranes at construction sites using IoT sensors, for identification of utilisation time and cranes’ loads, aiming at better project management and supply chain planning. In the future, there is potential to integrate with current project management and ERP systems to optimise different business processes, with ML-enabled functionality to support decision making.


We are looking for an experienced and driven Growth co-founder for an IoT-Based solution for the Construction Industry in Germany in particular, before expanding to Nordic market and other European countries.

You will work closely with a product co-founder, as well as NBT’s venture development, marketing and engineering team to bring this product to market.

  • Work together with another expert Co-Founder on developing an early-stage startup
  • Architect the go-to-market and customer engagement strategy
  • Establish sales & marketing B2B strategy
  • Leverage your expertise to grow the Market adoption and build a scalable business
  • Master the pitch deck, create marketing materials, pitch to events in the field of Construction Tech in Germany and other European countries.


Must Haves:

  • +5 years of experience in Business Development/Customer Engagement position or equivalent
  • Strong expertise and proven track record in B2B sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German (minimum C1 level)
  • Background and strong network within the Construction Industry is a must.

Nice to Haves:

  • Entrepreneurial experience is a big plus.
  • Fundraising experience is a plus.
