At Sparehub, machinery and equipment manufacturers and third-party logistics providers (3PL) come together via a lean, digital process. Co-Founder and COO (m/w/d)
Stuttgart / Remote / OPERATIONS / Full-time
Your mission:
- Your mission is to build our company from the ground up together with the CEO and CTO. You will be responsible for the strategic set-up and building of our business operations including our logistics partner network, setting new market trends and overseeing our whole logistic operations
- Together with a recruitment specialist, build our operations team from scratch
- Convince investors of the capabilities of our operating model and represent the interests of our company together with the other co-founders
- Secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth
- Work with or integrate new leading-edge technology keeps you motivated
- Build, scale and run a platform to enable a multi-billion business together with an exceptional team
- Empower yourself, engage with your team, get better every day
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures, ultimately being responsible for the efficiency of our business
- Manage relationships with our operations partners (3PL, implementation partners)
Your profile:
- Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role
- Min 5 years experience in the contract logistics business as COO, Head of Operations or Project Manager mandatory
- You bring a track record of large scale logistics contract implementations and an ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time
- You have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics
- You love patterns and complex challenges, you know how to evaluate solutions and how to choose the right one based on experience and clever decision making
- You are hands-on, reliable and innovative implementing those solutions
- You can work on your own but you love to share your knowledge and work with the team
- Experience in fundraising will be a plus
