Zuora is seeking an intelligent, motivated Marketing Database Specialist to generate B2B contact lists for marketing and sales campaigns. As a Marketing Database Specialist, you will be involved in researching companies and contacts, and profiling the database. The right candidate is extremely diligent in discovering and verifying company and contact information for colleagues to execute marketing and business development campaigns. You will work efficiently in a fast-paced, tech environment. Data accuracy is paramount.


  • Build contact database by researching companies and people online and using databases
  • Verify contact information
  • Maintain accurate database by properly tagging contacts that are no longer at companies, changed roles, identifying and removing duplicates, etc.
  • Track and report weekly activities
  • Analyze database to make there is coverage of target titles within accounts and report on contacts added, removed, etc.
  • Work closely with manager, SDR and marketing teams to support outreach campaigns and programs


  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration or Technology related major
  • 2+ years professional experience in marketing or sales database development
  • Experience with databases and customer relationship management (CRM) software (Salesforce preferred, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, InsideView, etc.)
  • Knowledge of common business roles and titles
  • Data entry and verification experience
  • Data analysis and presentation of database statistics
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Google Sheet and Google Docs
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, follow up, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills
