Luster specializes in high-tech experiential activations that enable event guests, fans, and social followers, to engage with brands in truly unique ways. In 2011, we invented Hashtag Printing and today our products have been featured at over 1,500 events in 200 cities across the world, including iconic cultural experiences like the Grammy Awards, Olympics, Super Bowl, and Comic-Con International. As the number of events that we support increases, so will the team that makes those events a success. In this role you will support our Operations Specialists through several essential efforts ranging from the first client introduction to when the the party wraps up.

Day-to-day the Operations Intern will:

  • Support the relationship with our clients to ensure a successful event
    • Organize call notes and strategize with Operations Specialists on event execution
    • Prepare client deliverables for cross functional department use
    • Prepopulate Mosaic canvases
    • Represent Luster on site for local Hashtag Printer events
  • Assist in Software System management
    • Setup and manage active events and subscriptions
    • Generate statistical reports outlining event specific social engagement
  • Inventory Support
    • Check In hardware and maintain organized inventory system in office
    • Prepare for each event by ensuring hardware is up to spec and all supplies are packed
  • Build Intern Training Process

These responsibilities along with some special projects will contribute to the continued development of our Operations team and aid in the prioritization of future investments in potential Product and Sales initiatives. This is a highly cross functional role that requires working closely with key members of the Operations and Creative Departments. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a wide variety of clients across different industries -- from fashion, to pro sports, to cloud computing, and everything in between.


We will be weighing drive and ambition much more heavily than where you went to school or what you studied, but the ideal candidate will have:

  • Intermediate to strong Excel and Google spreadsheet skills
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Business, Marketing, or related program
