You are a high energy individual with an innate passion for marketing. You love meeting people, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple concurrent demands within established timelines. You are eager to learn as much as you can and to grow your level of responsibility within the marketing team, and are truly enthusiastic about owning the event experience from start to finish. You would be described as a people person - outgoing, friendly, and possess strong communication skills. You are a collaborative and flexible team member, who is highly organized with extreme attention to detail. No task is too small or too big for you; you are a go-getter and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Position Overview:

We are looking for someone to spearhead events as a component of our multi-channel integrated marketing strategy. The position will play an integral role in supporting the marketing department and our fast-growing sales team. You will report to the Head of Demand Generation and will work very closely with other members of the marketing and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of the marketing fundamentals, and a track record of proven success in coordinating and executing successful and professional events. Proven experience with social media marketing and email marketing preferred, but not required.

You Must:

  • Manage the planning and execution of our trade show pipeline, successfully coordinating logistics from start to finish, i.e. evaluating industry-wide events, working with vendors to finalize sponsorship, completing exhibitor requirements, organizing freight, shipping/ordering of swag, submitting proposals for speaking engagements, developing content and creative themes, establishing field marketing plan, tracking budget, etc. Travel to events and oversee on-site exhibition, including setup and teardown of the booth, field marketing, lead collection process, raffle, networking & demos, etc. Support Digital Marketing Manager on the outline, creation, and execution of event marketing campaigns (email, social, search, account-based marketing) Coordinate with Social Media Manager on all event social promotion Develop pre/post event email marketing outreach / event campaign Work with Digital Marketing Manager and Sales Management on lead acquisition, processing, nurturing and follow-up to ensure leads from event marketing activities are properly managed Evaluate, measure, and report on effectiveness of event sponsorship/attendance* Participate in Marketing brainstorms to contribute to messaging and campaign ideation, ensuring overlap with upcoming events

You Have:

  • 2-3+ years of work experience in a sales/marketing role with at least 1 full year of trade show coordination experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company Excitement to travel to attend conferences and trade shows both locally & across different states Expertise with Google Docs and Excel Experience with Marketing Automation Software a plus Proficiency in various social media platforms, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram* BS/BA in Marketing or equivalent
