In 2011, we invented Hashtag Printing and since then our printers and guest-generated mosaics have been featured at 1,500+ events in 200 cities across the globe, from the Grammys to the Olympics, from Dreamforce to Lollapalooza. Our mission is to become the largest photo-experiences company in the world.

THE JOB

As the number of events that we support increases, so will the team that makes those events a success. The Operations Specialist will own a significant portion of the event life-cycle: from when the Sales team first lands the client to when the the party wraps up.

That’s a lot of ground to cover. For each event the Operations Specialist will:

  • Own the relationship with our clients and consult with them to ensure that their events are successful
  • Prepare for each event by ensuring hardware is up to spec and all supplies are packed
  • Draft and issue contracts and invoices
  • Process payments and record them in our accounting software
  • Schedule all event staff and coordinate introductions to the client
  • Book all travel for events outside of our home markets
  • Setup all events, logos and hashtag subscriptions in our software system
  • Manage and deploy all hardware
  • Create and deliver the post-event analytics report

This is a client facing role, and you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients across different industries -- from fashion, to pro sports, to cloud computing, and everything in between. A key part of this role is working with these clients to ensure they know how to maximize the benefit of having Luster at their event and to ensure we have everything we need from them.

This role will require exquisite organizational and communication skills. You must be comfortable with Excel/Google docs and be able to learn new systems quickly. If you’re the most organized person you know, that’s a great start.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

We will be weighing drive and ambition much more heavily than where you went to school or what you studied, but the ideal candidate will:

  • Have, at minimum, intermediate Excel and Google spreadsheet skills
  • Be enthusiastic about problem solving and excited that each day will bring new problems
  • Have a deep understanding of social media
  • Have a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, always looking for ways to improve our product, operational processes and overall business
  • Enjoy keeping track of the latest trends in entertainment, live events and social media
  • Be incredibly personable, outrageously organized and just a plain ol' good person
