In 2011, we invented Hashtag Printing. Today, our products have been featured at over 1,500 events in 200 cities across the globe, including events like The Grammys, The Olympics, The Super Bowl, Comic-Con, and many more.
You can find our offices in 10 countries wrapping the globe. We’ve achieved all this while staying under 20 people in our main New York office and keeping a fun and relaxed environment.
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on engineer with strong leadership skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. We’ve gotten very far with a skeleton tech team and now we’re looking for someone to ensure we can keep up with our sales while paving the way for the future. The right candidate has a broad skillset in software engineering and ideally some experience with hardware products. You’ll be working on a diverse set of tasks including building/scaling products and platform, new MVPs and working with the CMO on website performance and scaling the business. We’re a young company that needs a CTO who is results driven and can strike the right balance between ‘doing it the right way’, and ‘gets things done`.
As the technology leader at Luster, your first job is to build out the technology team. Second, set the company on a course towards having a solid product foundation and efficient internal tools for sales and operations departments including greater i18n support for future expansion. Third, work on new MVPs and make our current products better. Your job is to realize our vision for the future of technology in the event space.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
We have a laid-back environment where everyone expects everyone else to do great work without needing to be chased or prodded. We rely heavily on each other to deliver the best work possible. We like to celebrate our wins and enjoy life. The company gathers on Friday afternoons to have a beverage and highlight that week’s successes. During the year we have company day-outs where we’ve gone zip-lining, paint-balling, and go-karting. Help us decide our next team activity.
