Our development team consists of specialists in frontend, backend, QA, product and designers. We work in small cross-functional teams that give everybody insight and hands-on experience of what everyone else is doing. Each team is self-sustained, autonomous and responsible for a specific feature or area in our platform. We believe in strong collaboration and open communication and mentoring to allow bi-directional growth. ABOUT THE ROLE:
Utilizing your extensive knowledge of the SaaS industry, target markets, customer needs, and user behavior, you will collaborate closely with executive and R&D leadership, the VP of Marketing, and the product team. Your goal is to identify customer needs, business objectives, and market trends that shape product design decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead design direction, strategy, and roadmap
- Establish and maintain design principles and guidelines
- Oversee the performance and output of the entire Product Design team
- Manage the Design System and process for all Talon.One products to ensure consistency
- Translate company goals into actionable KPIs, aligning design initiatives and research accordingly, and be accountable for contributions to company metrics
- Ensure consistency in design language, style, and functionality by setting a high bar for quality in execution and process
- Understand and address technical challenges related to scalability
- Continuously improve customer understanding by leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to uncover new insights
- Lead your team effectively, including hiring, onboarding, goal alignment, work assignment, coaching, performance management, development, and addressing resource gaps
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Extensive experience in a B2B SaaS company serving enterprise clients
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of designers, fostering their growth
- 10+ years of design experience, particularly with complex B2B SaaS products
- 5+ years of management experience leading design teams
- Demonstrated ability to design high-quality B2B enterprise solutions using common UX/UI patterns
- Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders to drive better outcomes
- Skilled in using qualitative and quantitative data and leveraging subject matter experts’ knowledge to impact customers and business metrics
