The mandate
Why this role exists
The groundwork for inbound is live: programmatic pages across 500+ document types, an llms.txt index, an MCP server. What it doesn’t have is someone who owns the funnel and the number.
The number is inbound qualified pipeline. Not traffic, not impressions. Meetings with real buyers that exist because of channels you built, counted when sales accepts them. An engineer builds your tooling. You own everything else.
What you’ll do
The charter
Own inbound end to end
- Every channel that can bring a lead in is yours to test. SEO, content, landing pages, paid experiments, events — you ship yourself, not through an agency.
Get Talonic cited by AI, not just ranked by Google
- GEO, AEO, answer engines. Talonic already has an llms.txt and an MCP server. You extend that signal into every relevant AI assistant and knowledge base.
Test fast, kill what doesn’t produce
- One channel that produces beats six that impress. You go deep on what works and stop everything else quickly.
Use AI to do the work of a team
- Research, production, distribution, analysis. You build systems with AI — you don’t just use it.
Report inbound qualified pipeline, not vanity metrics
- Every channel has a number next to it, and you can defend both. Traffic without meetings doesn’t count.
What success looks like
The scorecard
PIPELINE
Qualified meetings arrive every month from channels you built
- Not one-off spikes. A repeatable inbound motion that runs as a system, not a heroic effort.
CHANNELS
Every channel has a number next to it, and you can defend both
- One channel scaled deep, not six touched shallow. You know what each channel costs and what it produces.
SYSTEM
The funnel runs as a system, not a heroic effort
- You’ve built something that keeps working without you having to touch every piece every week.
Who you are
The profile
// Strong fit
You have built B2B inbound from near zero, with numbers you can show
- Not a rebrand or a content refresh. You grew a pipeline from scratch and can walk through how.
You ship yourself
- Pages, content, campaigns, tracking. You don’t wait for someone else to build the thing before you can test it.
You know classic SEO and AI discoverability
- GEO, AEO, answer engines — you understand how AI assistants discover and cite content, not just how Google ranks it.
You build systems with AI
- You use AI to do the work of a team, not just to draft copy faster.
You have marketed technical products to technical buyers
- Enterprise infrastructure, data tooling, developer tools. You know how to write for a CTO without sounding like a brochure.
Based in Berlin. Fluent English, German a plus.
- On-site role. We work together in person.
// This isn't the role if
You need a team to execute
- There is no team yet. You are building it.
You deliver strategy decks and wait for others to ship
- The output here is pipeline, not slide decks.
You report reach when asked for pipeline
- Impressions, traffic, and MQLs that don’t close aren’t the number. Qualified meetings are.
You have only marketed with big budgets at late-stage companies
- This is zero-to-one. The constraints are real and the ownership is total.
How we build
The operating model
Small team, high trust, context over control. Real ownership from week one, and a weekly heartbeat everyone ships to.
Monday
- Business requirements set
Thursday

Friday
- Demo day
We build with AI, we market with it, and it’s fast here. An engineer builds your tooling. Everything else is yours.
Why Talonic
We help write the rules of this category
- We co-authored DIN SPEC 91491, the German standard for AI-based document data extraction, with Fraunhofer IIS, Humboldt-Innovation and DIN e.V. In the DACH market, that’s a credibility signal you can use.
- NVIDIA Inception member, with roots in research affiliated with Humboldt University of Berlin, and backed by leading European deep-tech investors.
- A real product in regulated enterprise — energy, logistics, procurement. The programmatic SEO and GEO infrastructure is already in place. You take it further.

How we’ll meet
The process
1. Intro with the Head of Business. Meet Donita: the role, the market, your questions. Come ready to walk through a channel you built from near zero — what you tested, what you killed, what scaled.
2. Paid co-working session. Spend a paid day building alongside the team — auditing the current inbound foundation, mapping a channel experiment, getting into the product — so both sides can judge real fit.
3. Culture-fit meeting with the team. Meet the people you’d build with. Mutual fit, no trick questions.
4. References. Including the ones you didn’t put on the list.
