Role Description
As Head of Growth, you will own user acquisition, activation, and retention end-to-end across our European and US markets, reporting directly to the founder. Your first mandate is to take the growth playbook that worked in Europe and scale it faster in the US, then help expand it across new corridors and products as we build the financial OS for global Indians. You will own the metrics that define the business — CAC, LTV, and payback — and build the growth engine and the team behind them. You'll set full-funnel strategy across paid, organic, referral, influencer, and product-led channels; stand up the attribution and data foundation that ties every euro and dollar of spend to real transfers; and partner closely with product on positioning, corridor expansion, and what we build next. Day to day you'll move fluidly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution — pulling cohorts yourself, designing referral and community-led growth loops, running experiments, and getting to the ground with the NRI diaspora communities that drive our word-of-mouth. You will lead a team of strong existing operators across influencer, content, affiliate, and hire the rest of the function around your vision. This is a senior, remote-first leadership role for someone who wants to turn a loved, community-led product into a disciplined, exponential growth machine.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years in growth or performance marketing, including a senior leadership stint at a B2C fintech, payments, or neobank (e.g. Revolut, Wise, Remitly, CRED, Jupiter, PhonePe, Groww or similar).
- Hands-on growth experience across both European and US markets, with a clear understanding of how acquisition, trust, and regulation differ between them.
- Proven ownership of company-level growth economics — CAC, LTV, and payback — with specific results you personally drove.
- Deep instinct for the Indian consumer and the NRI mindset: the culture, the trust dynamics, and the emotion of managing a financial life across two countries.
- Creative well beyond paid channels — referral loops, receiver-side mechanics, diaspora community, and product-led growth — paired with the discipline to grow efficiently on a lean budget.
- Strong, self-serve analytical skills: you work directly with data, dashboards, and cohorts to find the insight rather than wait for a report.
- Experience building and leading growth teams, and comfort operating in a fast-moving, founder-led startup where you own outcomes end-to-end.
- A go-getter who is happy to go to the ground — meet users, sit in community groups, and run growth from the field, not just a dashboard.
- Background in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or a related field; remittance or cross-border payments experience is a strong plus.
