Our Germany-based FinTech startup Frienton is looking for a middle/senior full-stack developer for a long term remote-first relationship. We are a growing SaaS company and operate in the domains of financial business administration (banking, accounting, bookkeeping, and taxes) and finance in general (open-banking, PSD2).
You will work on:
- New frontend & backend components for our Fintech SaaS
- Undertaking your own development responsibilities as well as mentoring junior colleagues
- Support our product team with your knowledge, debugging and testing
You should have:
- A strong interest in IT-solutions and complex SaaS applications
- The ability to produce elegant software that gets the job done
- At least 2 years of experience with frontend stack and React-based progressive SPA PWAs (React, React Router, React Hooks, React functional components, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, Responsive design, PWA, good understanding of the UX/UI)
- At least 2 years of experience with backend stack and Kotlin/Java-based applications (Kotlin, Spring Boot & Spring framework)
You are:
- Fluent in English for constant effective communication
- Motivated to work independently but also open to collaboration in teams
- Creative, especially to come up with outside-the-box ideas
- Available for 35-40 hours per week with flexible working hours
- Eager to become part ofa high functioning remote team
We will be thrilled if you have:
- A background in computer science, mathematics or related areas
- Some experience with frontend technologies: GraphQL, REST, Apollo Client, Redux, Bootstrap, Storybook, Jest, React Testing Library, yarn, webpack
- Some experience with backend technologies: REST, GraphQL, MongoDB
- A healthy amount of curiosity and eagerness to learn from experts in the field
