Job Overview:
Evitado Technologies is seeking an experienced Computer Vision Engineer with a strong background in developing cutting edge perception stacks, with a focus on 3D data modalities. In this role, you will enable Evitado's core technology by providing a robust understanding of the surroundings of the aircraft and thus working on the heart of our product.
What you'll do:
- Integrate Sensor Data Fusion pipelines: LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, Camera & others
- 3D Point Cloud Algorithm Development: Sensor State Estimation, Object Detection / Tracking / Classification & Mapping
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and interfaces
- Build Developer Experience workflows to accelerate development and testing
- Improve performance characteristics of existing software components
- Establish and develop Continuous Integration pipelines for automated testing to maintain high quality code base
- Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Pickup research projects to advance the State of the Art in 3D Computer Vision for embedded systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field
- Experience turning state of the art research into products
- 4+ years for Senior
- 7+ years for Staff
- Deep understanding of mathematical principles, computational geometry and probability theory
- Expertise in product grade C++, proficiency in Python
- Experience with Linux-based operating systems
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) is a plus
- Previous experience in at least one of the following:
- GPU-based processing with CUDA
- AI/ML development
- LiDAR point cloud computing
- Optimizing runtime and performance of computer vision algorithms for embedded devices
- Knowledge of software development tools, such as JIRA and Git
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
