As part of our continued growth, we're seeking an experienced Index Operations Associate to join the Corporate Actions / Operations Team in Frankfurt am Main. This role involves handling daily operational tasks and contributing to developing and maintaining our indexes.
Responsibilities:
- Working on corporate actions, ensuring accurate data capture and processing.
- Monitoring and processing corporate action events, including dividends, distributions, reorganisations, share splits, rights offerings, M&A, and demergers.
- Creating corporate action announcements.
- Participating in advanced customer support queries/data requests.
- Supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of BITA indexes.
- Collaborating with various teams to streamline operations and enhance our product offerings.
- Work closely with IT to create requirements for automation and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Economics, Administration, Finance or similar fields.
- Proven experience in Equities corporate actions of at least 3 years, with a strong understanding of financial markets.
- Knowledge of how corporate actions impact index performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent English
- Experience with data vendor terminals (e.g. FactSet, Reuters or Bloomberg) is a plus
