Germany ranks seventh in the global startup report with Berlin as the german startup capital. Germany was also found to be growing in gender diversity with female founders rising to 25%. The startup company ranking comes as no surprise, however, as new businesses in Germany were doing so well that 80% of them planned to expand their internationalization. With 82.4% of the new businesses surveyed, the primer funding for the business is coming straight from the founder’s capital. This bodes well for stability and economic growth, both for new companies and for Germany’s economic footholds. After all, it was reported that each of the new businesses created 13.2 more startup jobs throughout the country. According to the startup monitor, Germany is taking the entrepreneurial market by storm and will continue to rise in the ranks indefinitely in years to come.
