The Netherlands is full of culture and rich history but when it comes to the startup ecosystem, it is striving in technology-based companies. Though small in size, the country is bursting with opportunity and is considered to have one of the most promising startup scenes in Europe. Startup reports indicate that the Dutch country brokered seventy-five major deals throughout one year which equated to $560 million in investments. While the government was initially financially generous to startups, it is now being handed off to private investors. However, that is an indication of a healthy startup ecosystem, considering private investing is on the rise. Additionally, reports indicate that established businesses in The Netherlands are eager to help startup business get their footing which is encouraging for not only the growth of startups but the longevity of the startup movement. There is incredible potential to create more startup jobs in the near future.
