Australia is hastily climbing the ranks of the global startup community, with the help of fellow entrepreneurs and the government. With the centralized locations of the startups being hosted in Sydney, with thirty-five percent of the national startups, followed by Melbourne with fourteen percent, and Brisbane with nine percent, the country is focused mostly on tech startups, but with its innovative spirit and perseverance, there is potential for widespread growth. The location of this English-speaking country makes it the prime location for globalized relations and the government is behind the startup endeavor implicitly. As a show of their support, New South Wales has committed to investing $35 million into a Startup Hub, in the center of Sidney. This building is planned to give startups a home and a resource to help them grow. The country hasn’t had a recession in over twenty-six years, which gives Australia a stable foundation for startup jobs that flourish into lifelong endeavors.
